I’ve been freelance writing online since 2008, which in Internet years is a long time. I’ve been creating websites and writing content since I was in high school in the 90s. To keep up with the ever evolving nature of the online writing game, I study and read constantly. I started this blog to learn along with all of you, and to pass on what I’ve learned. Yes, (almost) anyone can write from home. No, online content writing is not a lottery ticket.
I scrap out a living, while I know some that do quite well. Personally, I have problems getting distracted. Oh look there at that shiny balll…. What was I saying?
Oh yes, I hope to use this blog also as a place to center and up productivity. I work fast, but find myself spending time on other projects. I’m an advocate and activist in my free time, which usually takes up all my not-so free time.
I own a few sites, and want to grow so that I’m only writing for my own blogs. I make money through advertisements and affiliate marketing. Plans for the next year include doing more of that and writing an eBook.
Currently, I live in Indianapolis with my husband, Ben, and are two dogs Lucy and Reggie. I’m a mother without any living children. I gave birth Cora in November 2009; she passed away 5 days later.
